How To Get There

By car: Take A38 to Plymouth and then the Torpoint car/passenger Ferry (quicker) or cross the Tamar bridge. Exact directions will be given when booking.

Train: Take a train to Plymouth Station, then a short taxi ride (will not cost much) to the Royal William Yard . Catch the regular passenger ferry to Cremyll (only 5/10mins crossing, costing £2.50) . it is then either a very short bus ride from Cremyll to Kingsand/cawsand or a taxi. Another option from Plymouth train station is to take a taxi or walk to the Barbican (old harbour part of Plymouth) and catch the Cawsand Ferry , a delightful 30mins passenger ferry trip landing on Cawsand beach (£6). Please be aware there are certain times for this ferry, so depending on your train arrival, this may or may not be possible! There is also a bus that stops at the station that goes to Cawsand/Kingsand. This does take quite a long time as it stops at lots of places , so a ferry is the quicker option.

Coach: The National Express runs a service to Plymouth as does the Mega Bus. You can then follow the same instructions as arriving by train. There is a bus service from Plymouth to Cawsand if you prefer, but it stops at lots of places along the way, so it will be quicker to use the ferry!
